paint and guards

Postby jaffa-h2 » Thu Dec 08, 2016 9:37 pm

HI guys, can anyone tell me the closest PPG paint code for my H2A gold paint, don't want to know who does them as I am a painter, can mix paint myself but would like to get the paint close as possible, the paggio car is a good starting point, this info is like drawing a tooth, why wont people that have the know how, help others finish their bikes, also does anyone know of, or have a front guard, and a long rear guard for a h2A, they would part with, cheers Rob.

Well you did answer your own question, you don`t want to know I assume where you can get the paint so that`s why nobody has replied.
What you could do is ring RS paints and see if the will tell you as they supply the paint ready mixed. If you get no joy from them there is Bike Colours I think who you could ring .

People have the hump when nobody answer them and when they get a reply cannot be bothered to acknowledge it. Makes you think. :?: :? :( ;)

Google is great, I don't come on here that often and you get the same questions
The answer is there isn't a paint code
If you look on triple resources it will give you some advice on how to get it close to a factory colour even though there isn't one as colours varied wildly

Hope you see this before it closes

Also Honda, Suzuki, BMW and a few other have the same/similar Candy Gold colour that Kawasaki had on the H2A, the guy who painted mine said this to me, if you are what you say you are, then you should be able to match it yourself also, email Steve at Crows Custom Paints in Aussie, he'll tell you too if you can't colour match,
