Dammit . . . She let me down . . .

Dammit . . . She let me down . . .

The bikes been running GREAT! And I was about to ride it at the weekends "Birthday Bash" - I even stripped the front brake! To find that the grease had come out of the front bearing and caked the shoes!! - A quick blast with acetone and a sanding disc and I was good to go . . . . But, I'd noticed that the charging light was flickering, and when I pulled the front brake lever the charge light turned into a stop light.

3 hours later with some of the best brains in the business and we failed, changed the rec & rect . . . Still the same . . . I put it down to an omen and off I went on the H2c leaving the forlorn H1 behind :(

An H2c that is actually for sale and will land in the U.K. in 6 Weeks time :)

Tighten and check the earth wires Rick..

If the earth return is missing then the charging light appears.. I had one a coupla years back where the charging light came on when he sat on it.. (ie when the rear end was compressed) turned out that everything had been simply earthed to the battery box.
