I found a hole yesterday on the bottom seam of the left hand silencer. The seam has either been deliberately cut or just worn through by the prop-stand foot which makes contact with the silencer when folded up. Oil leaks out of this hole and covers the prop-stand foot. I had a look at BigH's H2 and his prop-stand does not touch the silencer when folded up. Not sure if this means the stop or pivot is worn or the stand is bent.

That looks deliberate, you can see the "touches" of the cutting wheel.

I would say this is not deliberate but just the prop stand rubbing over time. I guess that the prop stand rubber bushing is missing or the stand is bent so that the bushing does not sit properly.

But this does not explain the mess on the right side of the bike. In still think this is too much fuel and you have a carb issue of some description - too big pilot jets - fuel leak into the pilot system - float height failure.
This is where I would start looking. :up :up

Neah, I am just reasonably sure that I have seen that cut before . . . on a pipe that I brought out from the U.K. for the previous owner of this bike as he was starting to reproduce H2b/c pipes here in the U.S. and needed a donor left pipe :think
