I am with the 3 of you. I know that when I buy a chunk of meat from my local butcher, that animal has been killed. I just dont want to do it myself if I dont have to. Given exceptional circumstances, I would if I had to. If we all ate :spam no one would get killed :D

The title of a (great) sci-fi film starring Charlton "from my cold dead hands" Heston, made in 1973.

As far as possible be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant, they too have their story. Remember always, there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

And you are so right about other humans, there will probably be more than 1,000 murders in Chicago alone this year, very sad state of affairs.

And they only eat a few of them

Many people hunt for sport. It goes back to the caveman days . For many it's the thrill of stalking the animal then killing it. Me personally I have no problem with animal control measures if they are dispatched humanely and quickly . I worked on a farm for many years and we used to always have problems with idiots hunting with dogs. Also more recently I have been noticing badgers lying dead at the side of the road. This is where these idiots dump them to pretend they are road kill. Makes me sick these morons are only killing badgers for fun . Their dogs rip the badger to bits. Such a sick thing to do . Badgers never venture near roads. Now it seems they are hunting otters too and dumping them on the motorways.. Wish I could catch them in the act. .
