Hello, I am Kenneth.
I recently bought a old, dirty B8 out of a warehouse..

The motor was stuck.. Its free now but I need a new piston.
Where do i find it?

There are no paper work or VIN on the bike..
The engine number is FF0882
The frame number is A3917

Does this tell any details?

From what I can tell the engine and frame numbers are even more messed up than the rest of the Kawasaki's so I can't help you there. I found a lot of my parts on Ebay and other just searching hard. Vintage Kawasaki has some great parts too. I've got some parts from my build that are not real nice but they are useable, including the piston and rings. Let me know what you need and I will see if I have it.

Thanks for the response.
This will not be a nuts and bolt restoration..
I plan to make it run, ride it to bike night and have fun with it..
The running joke is I have so many bikes I can ride a different one every week..
Frankly I love the 40 years of patina.

So far I know I need:
1. Piston, rings, connecting pin and clips. my pen and clips are usable but rough..
2. The front sprocket is nearly gone at 7400 miles??
3. Fuel petcock for the tank
4. The coil is gone.
5. Some one stole the side Badges... OLD one would be great.. New ones will look out of place.
IF I had a high resolution photo of the badge I could have some printed.. 5 megs
6. The small silver canister next to the regulator is missing..What
7. I have no side covers and don't know what they look like.
8. I love the tiny signal lights.. I only have one front lens of 4..
Did the bike have rear signal lights? And what did they look like..?

Thank you in advance... Anything you can do to put it back on the road will be appreciated..

I have a coil and if your bore isn't too worn out you can have my piston and rings(std.)too. Everything else you need is on ebay right now, punch B8T into the search instead of just B8 and you will get a better selection. Look at my thread just below here and you can see what the side covers look like. Blinkers were optional but they always had 4, not just two in the front. The silver canister you refer to is the blinker relay. Replace the chain and the front and rear sprockets together.
