Why on earth try and talk him down from that price? That would be taking advantage from someone who is already underselling it - or are they all as cheap as that in your area?

the plan is to pick up the bike tomorrow morning.
I will upload some pics when i get my hands on it. When i talked to him on the phone he said the engine froze up after sitting one winter back in 78'. I know the seals in the engine will be dry but would be cool if i can get it turning over

Jeez, I've been lost from my own bloody forum! I'm back now though  . . . . . Good job I was out or I'd have been on a road trip to Oregon!!! What a great deal!

Put some PB Blaster down the bores, leave it 24 hours, put it in gear and rock it - if it turns over with the plugs out, then hold it full throttle and push for 20 feet and see if oil spews out of the plug holes, if not, Then free off the carb slides and put gas in and se if it'll start ;)
As far as possible be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant, they too have their story. Remember always, there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Hey Rick, good job that your DJI Phantom crashed into the trees. Why take up drone flying when your life is on two wheels. GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK ON YOUR OWN FORUM. :D :D :D :D
