It looks like this H2B engine # has a "- 7" on the end.

Hello to all.

Am I seeing things or does this H2B engine # have a " - 7 " on the end and if so, what does this mean ?

This is from a semi basket case I bought about 3 years ago - it is missing it's seat, tank, side panels, rear fender, headlight, shocks, air box, oil tank and two pipes.

The engine was removed and the top end is removed but the top end is there.

The "rest" of the bike is there and together. It looks like it was outside for a while, but of course not since I've had it.

Frame # is H2F-39577 .

Thanks,

Bob W.

It looks more like someones personal mark rather than anything done by Kawasaki.
So it could mean anything.

Thanks a bunch for the replies.

Yeah it does look like some kind of personal deal.....they did ok on the "dash", it is spaced and centered pretty decent.....not saying it is but the dash could pass for a factory stamp to me. The 7 is obviously strange - it is too small and and not spaced or centered right.

I will look at this again with a magnifying glass to see if that is really a stamped 7 or just what it is.

Thanks again.

As far as possible be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant, they too have their story. Remember always, there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
